SOUTHERN Vipers have announced their 17-player squad for the upcoming Charlotte Edwards Cup.

Georgia Adams remains at the helm after a successful 2021 season, leading the team to a second Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy in as many years, plus making the inaugural Charlotte Edwards Cup Finals Day at The Ageas Bowl.

Anya Shrubsole joins the squad as a player-coach on a full-time contract, with Sussex leg-spinner Nancy Harman, and left-arm fast bowler Freya Kemp joining on pay-to-play retainer contracts.

Chloe Hill also joins on a two-month loan from Central Sparks, and will be available for all Southern Vipers Charlotte Edwards Cup matches.

Hill said: “I am really excited be on loan to the Vipers for the CE Cup. Such a fantastic opportunity being with this region.

"The Vipers is in fact my home region of being born and still living in Buckinghamshire. The players and coaching staff have been so welcoming and I just can’t wait to get going now.”

A 14-player squad will be selected for each Charlotte Edwards Cup match.
