AFC Totton Sunday completed the double with a 6-1 win over Empire FC on Tuesday, writes Doug Webber.
Having already received the CSSFL Division 1 trophy, Sam Conway’s men picked up the Southampton Sunday Senior Cup after cruising to victory at the Snows Stadium.
Nathan Gray opened the scoring with a delightful half-volley, before doubling his side’s lead with an exquisite lob to leave Empire shell-shocked.
Empire’s Aaron Dunne did reduce the deficit, only for Tom Munday to rifle home from close range to restore their two-goal lead.
After the break, the Sunday Stags kicked on with a spectacular effort from centre-back Dan Gain and late goals from Munday and man-of-the-match Gray, sealing the club’s SSC double in front of 401 fans, following the first team’s win last week.
