And that is that. With a whimper Saints’ season came to an end with a disappointing 4-1 defeat at Leicester City.

The foxes took a 2-0 advantage before James Ward-Prowse’s tenth Premier League goal of the season gave his side a lifeline. Moments later though Ayoze Perez restored Leicester’s two-goal lead before sealing victory in stoppage time.

As the dust settles on yet another season, a catalogue of memories and emotions will remain. From the highs of draws against Manchester City and victories at Tottenham and West Ham to the many many lows before and after.
