ITALIAN giants AC Milan, Inter and Napoli are all interested in signing Armando Broja this summer, according to reports.

Broja impressed during his season-long loan spell at Saints from Chelsea, ending the season with nine goals from his 38 appearances.

That saw him finish second behind only James Ward-Prowse in Saints' scoring charts for 2021-22, the skipper netting 11 times.

Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has previously expressed a desire for Broja to return to the south coast next season.

The Albania international posted a farewell message via Instagram last week, which read: "I just want to start off by saying what a great season for me and my family personally.

“A season full of ups and downs but no matter what I had family and amazing people to help me get through it.

“I also want to say a massive thank you to Southampton and the amazing fans for allowing me and having the belief in me to showcase what I can do.

“I appreciate all the support and love you showed me and the team.

“Finally I want to say thank you so much to the players you guys taught me so much this year.

“I loved every minute with you lads it was honestly something special to me. You have not only become brothers to me but also family. I will miss you guys!”

Speaking earlier this month, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel confirmed Broja would return to the Blues for pre-season.

But the 20-year-old's longer term future remains unclear with Italian outlet CalcioNapoli24 reporting both Milan clubs and Napoli retain an interest in the striker, who has "many options on the table".

They also claim 25million Euros would not be enough to sign Broja on a permanent deal, with Chelsea valuing the player higher.
