SOUTHAMPTON FC have launched Summer of Saints - weekly prize draws that aim to help fans cope with the lack of matchday action during the closed season.

Each week the Premier League club will be giving away prizes as well as staging fun activities at the West Quay shopping centre.

This week the club are giving someone the chance to win a ticket to every Saints match - home and away - during the 2022/23 season.

A Saints spokesperson said: “We’re excited to have launched the Summer of Saints – a summer of weekly prize draws.

"We know fans will be missing the matchday action during the closed season, so each week we will be offering them the chance to get their hands on some amazing prizes and experiences.

"As a club, we always want to give back to our fans as they are what makes it truly special.

"This week’s prize is the ultimate prize for any Saints fan - the chance to win a ticket to every home and away match in the Premier League during the 2022/23 season, so I would encourage fans to enter quick.

"We will also be hosting a range of events throughout the summer, with more details to be revealed soon so fans should keep their eyes peeled for what will be a great Summer of Saints.”

The prizes reset every week, so the current one is live until early Monday morning, when it resets again.

Next week is a Lionesses special with a box for the England v Northern Ireland Women’s Euros match available.

The overall Summer of Saints competition is running until July 31, which means eight weeks of prizes and activities before it comes to an end.

The club has already given away £1,000, some 2021/22 merchandise, including signed shirts and match-worn player merchandise.

Last week it was a retro Saints bundle from the store and a ticket for a family to attend a match at St Mary’s in the 2022/23 season.
