EASTLEIGH confirm the permanent signing of defensive midfielder and former Mali international Ousseynou Cisse.

The 31-year-old Malian becomes the Spitfires' fourth summer signing ahead following his departure from Oldham Athletic.

Cissé brings a wealth of Football League experience to the Silverlake Stadium, having featured over 100 times across spells with MK Dons, Gillingham, and Leyton Orient since his arrival in the UK in 2017.

He rose through the youth ranks at PSG and Amiens, beginning his career with the latter, as he has also played for the likes of Dijon and Rayo Vallecano on the continent.

Cissé will officially join the Spitfires on July 1, subject to FA and National League approval.
