SAINTS keeper Jack Bycroft has joined Taunton Town on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old spent time on loan in Dorset at Weymouth and Dorchester Town last season, but is now heading to Somerset to get game time with the National South Peacocks.

A statement on Saints’ website read: “The club wishes Jack well for the remainder of the season and looks forward to monitoring his progress during the upcoming months.”

Bycroft made 15 appearances for Dave Horseman’s B team last season. He kept five successive clean sheets during the months of October and November.

The Saints academy product signed a fresh three-year deal with the Hampshire club last summer.
