SAINTS have drawn been away to Cambridge United in the second round of the EFL Cup, with ties to be played week commencing August 22.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side will visit the League One outfit in their first cup outing of the season, following their trip to Leicester City in the Premier League on August 20.
Liam O’Neil netted as Cambridge beat Millwall 1-0 in their first round clash, with George Honeyman sent off for the Lions.
Saints defeated Newport County and Sheffield United before losing to Chelsea on penalties in the cup last season.
It will be the first-ever competitive meeting between Saints and the Abbey Stadium-based club.
