SAINTS have confirmed the loan exit of forward Nathan Tella, who links up with Championship Burnley for the 2022-23 season.
The 23-year-old had been in Lancashire today completing his medical and signing procedures.
With the deal confirmed, Tella will now look to fire Burnley back into the Premier League – under new manager Vincent Kompany – following relegation last season.
Currently sat in third, Burnley have started their league campaign with victory over Huddersfield and a draw against Luton.
They head into a top-of-the-table clash against Watford this weekend, but Tella missed Saints’ pre-season through injury and could need minutes to get up to speed.
