SAINTS have confirmed they will play their Carabao Cup second-round tie at League One Cambridge United on Tuesday, August 23 (7.45pm).
The clash at Abbey Stadium will be the first time the two sides have played each other in competitive action.
Liam O’Neil netted as Cambridge beat Millwall 1-0 in their first-round clash, with George Honeyman sent off for the Lions.
Saints defeated Newport County and Sheffield United before losing to Chelsea on penalties in the competition last season.
