SAINTS youngster Dynel Simeu looks set to land a season-long loan move to Scottish Premiership Hibernian, the Daily Echo understands.
The club and his representatives are working on his second loan spell, after a successful half-season at League Two Carlisle United last campaign.
The 20-year-old, who travelled to Austria with Ralph Hasenhuttl’s first-team for the pre-season tour, played 18 times during his first senior spell while in Cumbria.
Simeu has played every minute of the Premier League 2 campaign for Dave Horseman’s B team this season, with the plan always being to find him a progressive loan spell.
The Scottish Premiership will see him both comfortable against some opposition while receiving regular tests from the likes of Celtic and Rangers.
Simeu needs more regular minutes to add to his footballing CV, with the hope of pushing for a first-team berth next season.
