RALPH Hasenhuttl replied “Who?” when asked about speculation linking Saints with Toulouse winger Zakaria Aboukhlal and insisted: “There are a lot of reports out there for players.”

Football Insider this week claimed Saints’ scouts were tracking Morocco international Aboukhlal, with Leicester City also linked with the 22-year-old.

Rotterdam-born Aboukhlal joined Toulouse from AZ Alkmaar in the summer and has scored three times in 12 club appearances.

With the links put to Hasenhuttl ahead of Saints’ trip to Crystal Palace in the Premier League tomorrow (3pm), the Austrian boss replied: “Who?”

Aboukhlal’s name was then repeated. Hasenhuttl said: “No, never heard, no.

“There are a lot of reports out there for players. They want to come to us in the summer.

“But we have no transfer window now, so it surprises me a little bit that it’s coming up now! No.”
