SAINTS are reportedly set to be offered Liverpool’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ahead of the January transfer window, according to Football Insider.

The media outlet claims the Reds are willing to let the England international go this winter, with his contract set to expire in the summer.

Oxlade-Chamberlain made his first-team debut for Saints as a 16-year-old, having come off the bench in a 5-0 victory over Huddersfield in 2010.

The midfielder went on to play 43 times for Saints at senior level before moving to Arsenal for a reported fee of £12million.

Having won three FA Cups with the north London side, Oxlade-Chamberlain has since been part of the Liverpool setup to have won the Premier League and Champions League.

He has made 137 appearances for the Merseyside club, scoring 17 times and registering 15 assists.

The England international has made three substitute appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s side this campaign.
