SAINTS goalkeeper Kayla Rendell has received the Women’s Championship player of the month award for October.

Saints won all three of their league games in October, beating Sunderland, Sheffield United and Birmingham City all 1-0, with Rendell keeping three clean sheets and pulling off some incredible saves.

Rendell was up against Sarah Ewens (London City Lionesses), Shania Hayles (Bristol City) and Emily Kraft (Lewes) for the accolade, but received the popular vote to secure the trophy.

This comes after head coach and women’s boss Marieanne Spacey-Cale also picked up the Manager of the Month award for the same month.
