SAINTS have been handed a trip to Crystal Palace in the third round of this season’s FA Cup.

Ball number 35 in the draw, Nathan Jones’s side are set to visit Patrick Viera’s Eagles on the weekend of Saturday, January 7.

The two sides have already met in Premier League action this season, Odsonne Edouard’s goal proving enough for Palace to seal a 1-0 win at Selhurst Park.

Saints, winners of the cup under Lawrie McMenemy in 1976, reached the quarter-finals of the competition last season before a 4-1 home defeat to Manchester City.
