FORMER Arsenal goalkeeper Vince Bartram announced he has departed his role after 12 years of working at Saints.
The 54-year-old had been working with the St Mary’s side since 2010, initially as goalkeeping manager for the academy and later as a scout and pathways monitor.
Bartram, who was also an academy goalkeeper coach at Portsmouth before joining Saints, says he is now looking for work.
In a statement on Twitter, he said: “I just want to confirm after 12 and a half years, I am no longer at Southampton FC.
“If anyone knows of any roles I may be suited to, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.”
After being forced to retire through injury in 2004, Bartram is credited with coaching Fraser Forster, Alex McCarthy, Paolo Gazzaniga and Kelvin Davis amongst others.
