FOUR of Saints’ five April Premier League fixtures have been chosen for live television coverage and handed new dates or times, with a fifth game also receiving a new date.

The changes mean that Saints will now only have one standard 3PM Saturday kick-off in April, with three of their upcoming matches scheduled for Sunday and another for Friday.

Saints will kick off the month with a trip to East London to face West Ham, now confirmed for Sunday, April 2 at 2PM, shown live on Sky Sports.

Ruben Selles's side then host Manchester City at the same time on the following Sunday - April 9 - once again, set to be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

However, with Pep Guardiola’s team still competing in the Champions League, that fixture could be subject to further change depending on their European progress.

A crucial month then takes Saints to the Emirates to face another of this season’s title-contenders in Arsenal with kick-off now scheduled for Friday, April 21 at 8PM, chosen for live broadcast on BT Sport.

But that is another fixture that could be rescheduled depending on Arsenal’s participation in the Europa League, with an alternative date of Sunday, April 23 at 7PM chosen should the Gunners have European duty on the preceeding Thursday.

Additionally, should Saints progress to the FA Cup semi-finals - set for the same weekend - the game would have to be rescheduled.

The final week of April sees two more fixture changes, Saints’ clash with Bournemouth moved to Tuesday, February 25 at 7:45PM. However, if the aforementioned Arsenal game is rescheduled for Sunday, then the all South Coast affair would be moved to Thursday April 27 at 7:45PM.

Finally, Saints end the month with a trip to St James’ Park, originally scheduled for Saturday at 3PM, it will now be played on Sunday, April 30 at 2PM.
