SAINTS defender Nico Lawrence has been awarded Torquay United's young player of the season award for the 2022-23 campaign.
The B team star only arrived at Plainmoor in January but has gone on to make 17 appearances in the National League.
Lawrence has been integral to a recent run of form seeing five consecutive wins and three clean sheets in that time.
Lawrence was presented with the club award ahead of their recent win over York City, which pulls Torquay closer to safety.

They currently sit 21st in the division, just inside the relegation zone, two points behind Aldershot with three games left of the season.
Composed ball player Lawrence could pursue another loan next campaign and would be likely to step into League One or League Two.
He signed a new professional contract this year, which will keep him at Saints until the end of the 2024-25 season.
