SAINTS signing Kamaldeen Sulemana has reportedly been listed as a possible transfer target for Italian giants Juventus.

The 21 year old only arrived at St Mary's in January but alerted other clubs to his presence with a spectacular brace in the final-day 4-4 draw with Liverpool.

They were Kamaldeen's first goals since joining the club and followed a first assist at Newcastle United in a recent Premier League defeat.

Kamaldeen, who has been called up to the Ghana squad for next month's internationals, cost Saints a club-record £25million fee to acquire from French side Stade Renne.

However, Italian publication La Gazetta report that Kamaldeen is a possible target for Juventus, who missed out on the Champions League due to a points deduction.

They detail that Juventus would be looking for affordable options to replace their outgoing players amid a possible 120 million Euro revenue hit, while adding youth and exuberance to fuel a fresh start.

Kamaldeen is listed alongside Sassuolo's Armand Lauriente. The Frenchman also played for Stade Renne in his youth career.

Kamaldeen told the Daily Echo last weekend that he is unsure where his future lies following relegation to the Championship, but that he is enjoying his time at the club.

Saints would be unlikely to accept a significant loss on Kamaldeen as he fits the direction Sport Republic want to go and was tracked by his suitors for a long time.

Saints will see significant outgoings this summer, though, as they look to balance the books after their Premier League exit.
