EASTLEIGH have confirmed that former Arsenal goalkeeper Vince Bartram has joined the club as a goalkeeping coach ahead of the 2023-24 National League Season.

Bartram had previously been working at Saints for more than 12 years, but left his role in December 2022.

The 54-year-old initially joined in 2010 as academy goalkeeping manager before also undertaking the role of scout and pathways monitor.

With more than 500 league appearances across his playing career, Bartram will add experience to the Spitfires backroom staff as they look to improve on a ninth place National League finish last season.

Daily Echo:

Eastleigh boss Lee Bradbury has said he is delighted to have Bartram, who has played at every level from the Premier League down to the National League, joining his staff.

“Vince is very experienced in the football world and in the goalkeeping world," he said.

“He has a lot of experience as a player and as a coach and has been at the top level with Southampton FC.

“I’m absolutely delighted to get him on board and I’m looking forward to seeing what he brings to the table.”
