SAINTS manager Russell Martin is considering a raid of former club Swansea City with a new report naming four players the boss is interested in.
The St Mary’s side have already been linked to Swans midfielders Matt Grimes and Jay Fulton prior to the former Scotland international’s official appointment as boss.
Martin led Swansea in the Championship for two seasons and staged a late playoff push in the final months of last campaign, finishing narrowly outside.
It is widely reported that Martin is interested in bringing some of his former players to the club but any transfer business could depend on outgoings first.

The Sun, however, claim they have the name of four more players Martin is considering signing, including players all over the pitch.
They name central defenders Nathan Wood – an England youth international – and Ben Cabango – a full Wales international – but state the club would likely only move for one.
Striker Joel Piroe, 23, is comfortable leading the line in Martin’s system and has netted 41 goals in the last two Championship seasons under the boss.
Meanwhile, Republic of Ireland left-back Ryan Manning is available as a free agent after departing Swansea as a free agent this summer.
Romain Perraud, who finished last season injured, could leave the club following relegation having attracted interest from clubs in Europe.
However, the report adds that Saints face competition for the targets, with Leicester City also keen on Piroe and the Premier League's Luton Town and Sheffield United eyeing Manning.
