PAUL McCallum scored twice as Eastleigh staged a remarkable comeback to draw 3-3 with Barnet in the Vanarama National League.

The Bees looked certain to maintain their 100 per cent start to the season as they surged into a 3-0 lead inside the opening 30 minutes.

Idris Kanu tapped in at the far post to get the ball rolling after 15 minutes and four minutes later it was two as Danny Collinge headed in his third goal of the season.

Kanu’s second looked to have wrapped the points up on the half-hour mark before McCallum got Eastleigh back in into the game on the stroke of half-time with a cool finish after a counter-attack.

Scott Quigley's first Spitfires goal made the Bees sweat midway through the second half as Lee Bradbury's side looked to make a comeback.

McCallum rose highest in the seventh minute of stoppage time to head Chris Maguire's cross in at the back post to earn an unlikely point for Eastleigh.

The draw saw the Spitfires maintain their unbeaten start to the season as they now sit in 16th place in the National League after three consecutive draws.
