EASTLEIGH have been drawn to face National League South side Dover Athletic in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The Spitfires will welcome the Kent-based side on October 14 to the Silverlake Stadium, looking to make it through to the first round proper.

All National League teams joined the 40 winners from the third qualifying round to make up the draw.

Richard Hill will be in charge of the Spitfires for the cup tie after he was announced as the permanent manager last week.

Dover beat Eastleigh 1-0 in the last meeting between the two teams on January 25, 2022 in the National League with Alfie Davey scoring the winner.

The visitors will be making the 135-mile trip to the south coast and they qualified for this stage by beating Haringey Borough 2-1 on Saturday.

Mitch Brundle's side currently sit 23rd in the National League South and Eastleigh will be heavy favourites to progress.
