EASTLEIGH have confirmed the signing of Jayden Harris on a short-term loan from League One side Carlisle United.

The 24 year old has only featured twice for the Cumbrians in the league so far this season as they struggle towards the foot of the league following their promotion last season.

Harris began his youth career at Fulham and worked his way up through the academy system before he went on loan to Woking in 2020 before returning to Fulham for a further year.

The midfielder then joined Eastleigh's Hampshire rivals Aldershot Town, where he went on to make 33 appearances and also completed a month-long loan to Hampton & Richmond Borough.

In August 2022, Harris joined League Two side Carlisle United before he scored his first goal for the club in a 2-1 win over Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup.

His arrival at the Silverlake Stadium comes with the Spitfires sitting 11th in the Vanarama National League.

Richard Hill's side welcome York City to the Silverlake on Saturday before a midweek home fixture against Harris' former loan side Woking on Tuesday evening.
