SAINTS fans are experiencing chaos as they attempt to travel north for today’s Championship clash with Hull City.

Adverse weather conditions have halted travel with some supporters left stuck at King’s Cross Station in London with no way of reaching MKM Stadium.

Saints kick off against Hull City at 3pm. Some rumours of a pitch inspection surfaced but Saints have had it confirmed there is currently no inspection planned.

However, earlier this morning, London North Eastern Railway issued a ‘do not travel’ advisory for all routes heading north from King’s Cross.

Saints season ticket holder Rob, currently at the station, told the Daily Echo: “It’s so busy, everyone’s confused including staff.

"No clarification on cancellations in good time. Everyone’s just waiting really. We checked but there are no bus or coach options."

The journey to Hull from Southampton Central takes approximately five hours, while it is around two-and-a-half hours from King’s Cross Station.

The final train leaving King’s Cross and arriving at Hull in time for kick-off is at 11:48AM, arriving just 35 minutes before the teams get under way.
