HAMPSHIRE Cricket all-rounder Dom Kelly and fast bowler Eddie Jack have both been named in England men’s under-19 Cricket World Cup squad.

Kelly and Jack, both 18, have risen through the Hampshire pathway system and made their full senior debuts for the Club in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

The duo featured in the summer of 2023 for England under-19s, with both players taking part in the Under-19 Ashes.

Kelly produced 276 runs in six matches, including two fifties, and Jack picked up eight wickets with a best of 4-62 in the first Youth Test at New Road.

For Hampshire, Kelly’s first outing was against the touring Sri Lanka Development side, when he took 2-22 and 1-28 at The Ageas Bowl.

Having played one Royal London Cup match in 2022, Kelly featured six times in the 50-over competition in 2023 where he took five wickets.

Jack debuted in Hampshire’s opening One Day Cup match against Middlesex and picked up his first professional wickets against Nottinghamshire where he finished with figures of 2-19 from nine overs.

More recently, the paceman claimed a five-wicket haul for England U19 against Bangladesh, ending the quadrangular tournament in India as England’s leading wicket-taker
