SAINTS duo Russell Martin and Adam Armstrong have been nominated for November's  Championship manager of the month and player of the month awards respectively.

Southampton earned three wins and a draw under Martin last month, collecting 10 points and conceding just two goals during that time.

Those results have seen Saints extend their current unbeaten run to 11 games and climb to fourth in the table.

A 1-0 win against Bristol City, which marked Southampton's first home clean sheet of the season, was a high point - as was their 2-1 win over fellow promotion hopefuls West Brom.

Current captain Armstrong played a key role during November having been a part of four of the five goals scored throughout the month.
