SAINTS Women will travel to Sunderland in the FA Cup fourth round after they were paired with their fellow Championship side in the draw.
Head coach Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side will visit the northeast on Sunday, January 14, with further details still to be announced.
Saints beat local rivals Portsmouth 2-1 in the third round to seal their progression to this stage thanks to a second half winner from Jemma Purfield.
Southampton met Sunderland in the Championship earlier this season but were beaten 1-0 at St Mary’s so they will be looking to avenge that defeat.
Winning clubs in the fourth round will receive an incentive of £54k if they can reach the fifth round of the historic competition.
