EASTLEIGH have revealed provisional ticket sale details for their potential FA Cup fourth round clash with Manchester United.

Tickets will go on sale as early as Wednesday, 17 January, if the Spitfires progress past Newport County in the third round replay.

Richard Hill's side welcome the League Two outfit to Silverlake Stadium on Tuesday, 16 January, after a 1-1 draw at Rodney Parade last week.

The club have issued a statement confirming a fourth round match versus Manchester United is unlikely to be played away from Silverlake Stadium.

The fixture would only be played elsewhere if the club's safety advisory group feel the club cannot stage the match safely, which is extremely unlikely.

Eastleigh adds: "We are exploring the possibility of extending our temporary seating to increase capacity to enable more fans to attend should we be successful."

Home tickets would be sold in a three-phased sale policy in the event of progression, with away tickets issued through Manchester United.

Phase one begins on Wednesday, 17 January at 9AM, with all season tickets holders and home supporters with purchase history prior to Thursday 21st December 2023.

Supporters who qualify in this phase will be allowed to purchase a maximum of two tickets.

Phase two begins on Saturday, 20 January at 5:15PM, when any tickets that remain will then be made available to any supporters who have purchased a ticket for Southend United, Oldham Athletic, Chesterfield league ticket or Newport County replay tickets.

Supporters who qualify in this phase will be allowed to purchase a maximum of two tickets.

In the unlikely event any tickets remain, phase three begins on Tuesday, 23 January at 9AM

The club conclude: "We appreciate how potentially exciting this fixture is for our fans and the wider community but we are not able to provide any further information at this stage for what is only a potential fixture."
