NEWPORT County's Nick Townsend insists they do not "need any motivation" ahead of their FA Cup third round replay against Eastleigh.

Chris Maguire's late penalty helped the Spitfires secure a draw at Rodney Parade to set up tomorrow evening's replay.

The prize for the winner will be hosting footballing powerhouse Manchester United in the fourth round on Sunday, January 28.

Speaking to BBC Sport Wales, County goalkeeper Townsend explained how his side do not need extra incentives to win at the Silverlake Stadium.

He said: "We don't really need any motivation for the game. We just have to make sure we play our game.

"We know what they will do and come out with. We have to up our game as well, which I am sure we can do."

"We proved that against Barnet when we played them in the (second round) replay. We are definitely up for the game."
