SAINTS centre-back Andrew Davies hopes to be back in contention and challenging for a first team place in "three to four weeks."
That is when the 23-year-old Daily Echo Player of the Season for 2007/08 expects to make his return to full first team training after three months out through injury.
That's great news for head coach Jan Poortvliet as a fully fit Davies, pictured below, would surely be a first-choice pick in the centre of defence alongside either Chris Perry or even Michael Svensson.
