SAINTS forward Adam Armstrong is one of six players nominated for January's PFA player of the month award. 

Last month saw Armstrong hit two goals and provide two assists in four games across the league and FA Cup.

The 26 year old has struck 15 goals Championship goals this season and provided a further 11 assists.

Only Plymouth's Morgan Whittaker (16) and Blackburn's Sammie Szmodics (16) have scored more league goals than the former Newcastle forward in the second tier this season.

Supporters can vote for Armstrong to win the PFA's player of the month award by visiting the PFA's website.
