SAINTS are likely to return to full strength this afternoon against Huddersfield having named a rotated side last time out against Watford.
After a slow start against the Hornets, many players made an impression as Saints progressed in the FA Cup against fellow Championship opposition.
Sekou Mara grabbed a quick-fire brace and could put pressure on Southampton's regular forward options.
Russell Martin's side were stung by a late Ben Jackson goal at Huddersfield earlier this season as the game finished 1-1.
Here is how we predict Saints will line up this afternoon against a Terriers side who sit just outside the relegation zone...
Goalkeeper and defenders
Irish international Gavin Bazunu has kept a clean sheet in five of his last six home games and will return between the sticks after being rested for the FA Cup.
Kyle Walker-Peters was also rested for the replay and should return from the start for his 150th Saints appearance across all competitions. Ryan Manning will be on the left.
Captain Jack Stephens started against Watford but he will likely drop back to the bench in favour of the trusted Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Jan Bednarek partnership.
Midfielders
Flynn Downes played 78 minutes on Tuesday evening and should keep his place as holding midfielder.
We predict that Will Smallbone and Stuart Armstrong will play in front of him - although Joe Rothwell could feature after his impressive performances in recent wins over Rotherham and Watford.
Forwards
Tyler Dibling caught the eye against Watford, but Martin will likely revert to choosing Adam Armstrong on the right wing against Huddersfield.
Ryan Fraser will likely play on the left side, with his fellow Scotland international Che Adams through the middle.
Full predicted team:
Bazunu; Walker-Peters, Harwood-Bellis, Bednarek, Manning; Downes, Smallbone, S Armstrong, A Armstrong, Fraser, Adams.
