SAINTS fans have reacted to a new proposed seating layout option at St Mary's following planned changes to the Northam Stand.
Earlier this year, the club revealed plans to make a home-only Northam end - meaning away supporters will be moved.
St Mary's will also undergo other upgrades but the club hope to create a 'red and white wall' to improve the atmosphere and match experience.
Saints remain in contact with supporters and the seating layout is still in its feedback stage, with alternative suggestions likely to be posed later.
The proposition sees away fans moved to the Chapel/Kingsland corner, with the current family zone moved to the Itchen corner of the Chapel Stand.

I do wonder who might end up in 17-21 and what sort of impression it might give the kids in the family stand. However, given the language some of the kids around us use, I think the damage is already done.

Best option imo. Away fans out the way in a corner. Full vocal end. And still have the option to have some fans move to block 21 so they can watch the away fans all game. Everyone wins.

There’s every chance the chapel becomes the louder end depending on how the club price seating for next season.
