EASTLEIGH Football Club have announced that the Premier League trophy will be pitchside for Saturday's match.

In celebration of Non-League Day supporters are invited to see the Premier League trophy up close and personal at the Silverlake Stadium.

The trophy will be pitchside ahead of Eastleigh’s 3pm kick-off against Hartlepool United in the National League.

Supporters attending the match can have their photograph taken with the iconic silverware, following the likes of Premier League champions Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Sergio Aguero, and David Beckham.

Eastleigh will hope the presence of the trophy can inspire them as they overcome a run of four games without a win as they flirt with relegation zone, sitting three points above 21st York City.

Eastleigh have received substantial grants from the Premier League Stadium Fund for improvements at the Silverlake Stadium, with funding provided for the pitch reconstruction and new irrigation system in 2021.

The Premier League contributes world-leading levels of investment to communities and football at all levels across England and Wales, with more than £200m supplied via the Premier League Stadium Fund for ground improvements at more than 1,000 clubs across the football pyramid.
