GOALKEEPER Kayla Rendell has become the first Southampton FC Women's player to be called up to the England senior side.
Lionesses head coach Sarina Wiegman announced Rendell has replaced Manchester City's Khiara Keating in the squad, ahead of the upcoming European Championship qualifiers.
The 22 year old was initially selected for the England under-23 squad for April's international break but has now been drafted into the senior side.
England face Sweden at Wembley Stadium on Friday, before they travel to face the Republic of Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday, April 9.

Speaking in November, Saints boss Marieanne Spacey-Cale told the Daily Echo about the goalkeeper's qualities after a 2-1 win over Sheffield United.
She said: "Kayla is an excellent goalkeeper. We know what she is capable of. We know that in the big moments, she will make those saves.
"She is a calming influence as well so she will make a save, get up, and be ready for what is next. I am really pleased for her."
Rendell has kept four clean sheets in the Championship for Saints this season during her 18 league appearances.
The 22 year old has represented her country at England's under-17, under-19, and under-23 levels.
She will join Manchester United's Mary Earps and Chelsea's Hannah Hampton as goalkeepers in the squad.
