The Solent Half Marathon kicks off at 10am on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
Celebrating over 30 years of operation, the event organised by Hardley Runners, offers a friendly race, attracting up to 500 entries.
The course, renowned for its scenic route through Hampshire, sweeps through the New Forest near Exbury and along the Solent shore at Lepe, starting and ending at Gang Warily Recreation Centre.
The route provides breathtaking views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight. Suited for competitive and novice runners, the event is also ideal for marathon training.
Participants will receive chip timing, a unique medal, and a running memento, with discounted fees available till the end of July.
EA Affiliated runners enjoy a £2 discount. Entry is online, minimum age is 17, and spectators are welcome.
