SAINTS will learn their Carabao Cup round two opponents on Wednesday evening, ahead of entering the competition later this month.
The St Mary's side will enter the second round of the tournament alongside Luton Town, Burnley and the other 13 Premier League clubs not in Europe.
The draw takes place on Sky Sports following Leeds United versus Middlesbrough, which is set to kick-off at 8pm on Wednesday, August 14.
Ball numbers for the draw will be finalised on Wednesday morning ahead of the draw and will be split into southern and northern sections.
Round two ties are set to be played midweek commencing August 26, with Tuesday and Wednesday evenings slated for matches.
All Carabao Cup fixtures this season will be broadcast live on Sky Sports following a new deal struck between the broadcaster and the EFL.
Clubs will be permitted to use five substitutes from a bench of nine over three stoppages - not including half-time, which is an additional window.
Matches that finish level after 90 minutes in the first five rounds of the competition will go straight to penalties, with no extra time played.
