INTERIM Blackpool boss Richard Keogh revealed Dom Ballard warned him he would score against Cambridge United - just as he did on his Saints debut.
Saints youngster Ballard, 19, opened his account for the Seasiders in their 4-4 draw against Cambridge on Saturday.
The England youth international put Blackpool 4-1 up before they fell apart in the second half and threw away three points.
Ballard is no stranger to scoring at Cambridge's Abbey Stadium having done so in Southampton's 3-0 Carabao Cup win on his senior debut.

Speaking to Blackpool's media team, Keogh said: "Dom (Ballard) said to me pre-match that he scored here on his debut and that he's going to do it again,"
"That's what he is like as a character, he's a really infectious guy and has really integrated himself into the group.
"I thought his energy and the timing of his movement paired with his finishing ability is such an asset for us. Dom scored a great goal, he should have had another early on as well."
