SAINTS are pushing to conclude a deal to sign highly-rated New England Revolution midfielder Noel Buck on loan until January.

The 19 year year England youth international is a regular fixture for the Revs in the MLS having made his debut in 2022.

The proposed deal contains an option to sign Buck on a permanent basis, in a similar move to that of Porto's Ussumane Djalo in January.

Saints are confident of finalising the deal for the midfielder, who is eligible to represent England, the USA and Wales.

Buck featured for Southampton's under-21s boss Simon Rusk during his time coaching England at the under-19 level.

The versatile midfielder, who has also played on the wing, has 57 MLS appearances under his belt and a further 44 senior games for New England's B side.
