A SOUTHAMPTON man has won the first Super 6 £1million jackpot thanks to Liverpool's 3-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday.
Lucky football fan Tom is £1 million better off after Mohamed Salah’s 56th-minute goal secured them the biggest ever Super 6 jackpot prize.
Liverpool's victory over rivals Manchester United was one of six Premier League scores that Tom from Southampton correctly predicted last weekend.
Also included was the dramatic 3-2 late win for AFC Bournemouth over Everton, in which Bournemouth’s goals were all scored after the 88th minute.
Just 0.16 per cent of Super 6 players predicted that scoreline, with only 2.97 per cent going for Manchester United 0-3 Liverpool.
Tom becomes the first ever Super 6 £1 million jackpot winner to score the full 30 points for six correct scores, and the first jackpot winner since January 2023.
Tom’s predictions (with the per cent of Super 6 players who predicted that scoreline) were:
Leicester 1-2 Aston Villa (40.37 per cent)
Everton 2-3 Bournemouth (0.16 per cent)
Nottm Forest 1-1 Wolves (25.77 per cent)
West Ham 1-3 Man City (41.93 per cent)
Newcastle 2-1 Spurs (14.29 per cent)
Man Utd 0-3 Liverpool (2.97 per cent)
Super 6 returns after the international break with another quarter of a million pounds on the line for predicting six scores.
