TWO of Southampton's upcoming Premier League fixtures have been handed new dates after being selected for live television broadcast.
Saints will be shown live on Sky Sports in back-to-back matches when Liverpool visit St Mary's and five days later for the trip along the south coast to Brighton.
Saints will now host Liverpool on Sunday, November 24, with a kick-off time against Arne Slot's title-chasing side at St Mary's set for 2pm.
They will then visit Brighton at Amex Stadium on Friday, November 29, for an 8pm kick-off against Fabian Hurzeler's Seagulls.
Saints last hosted Liverpool when they were already confirmed as relegated in May 2023, in a chaotic match that finished 4-4.
Kamaldeen Sulemana scored twice, while James Ward-Prowse netted his final goal for the club and Adam Armstrong last hit the target in the Premier League.
Brighton boss Hurzeler was named the first manager of the month in the Premier League this season, earning seven points from their first three matches.
Saints were beaten 3-1 at Amex Stadium in May 2023, in the penultimate match of that relegation season, with Moi Elynuoussi on the scoresheet.
