SAINTS boss Will Still revealed Taylor Harwood-Bellis will not be fit to face Wrexham but hopes to welcome Flynn Downes back for the opening game.
Harwood-Bellis has been back in full training at Stalpewood yet remains around two weeks away from returning to match action.
Downes, who also missed last week's trip to Spain, is yet to step back into training as he battles with persistent "niggles".
Ben Brereton Diaz is out with "locked hips", while Will Smallbone continues to struggle with an arm and hand injury suffered in Spain.

Sam Edozie and Charlie Taylor, who also suffered injuries during the training camp, have seen limited training action since returning to England.
Strasbourg have been in talks with Saints to sign Edozie, and while a deal is not advanced as first reported, he is expected to move to France.
Mateus Fernandes, also the subject of transfer interest, has missed half a week with illness, but Still hopes he will be back in training after the weekend.
We asked the boss for an update on Southampton's injury concerns ahead of Southampton's Championship opener against Wrexham on Saturday, August 9.
"I think Taylor (Harwood-Bellis) has probably got another 10 days to go. He's only just joined in training in the latter stages of this week," Still explained.

"Flynn hasn't trained with us yet, so we'll try and work it out. But like I said, we've got a few young players in there that did well today.
"Will Smallbone is still struggling with his arm, which he struggled with last week as well, which is why he didn't play last week or today.
"Bez (Brereton Diaz) has locked his hips. He's got sore groins and sore hips. We don't want to force people into playing or anything.
"I'm not that worried as such, and we don't want to force them back in and do anything stupid with them. So, we'll just see how this week goes.
"I hope Flynn will be back in training this week. We have played with Moses (Sesay), and we brought Romeo (Akachukwu) on. There's quality in the young lads."
