FORMER EFL ace Jobi McAnuff dubbed Championship top goalscorer Adam Armstrong "incredible" while praising Saints' newfound attacking form.
Armstrong, 28, leads the division's scoring charts with 11 goals in 21 games and is on course to at least match the 21 goals he scored during the 2023/24 regular season.
The former Coventry loanee has twice missed from the spot this season but has scored five goals in his last four games at St Mary's ahead of facing his old side on Saturday.
McAnuff also gave credit to Armstrong's supporting forwards, Leo Scienza and Finn Azaz, who have also impressed since Tonda Eckert took charge.
“[Finn] Azaz is a proven player at this level. He was a big-money signing, and now he’s kicking on," McAnuff told Sky Sports.

“Armstrong has a proven pedigree at this level. Leo Scienza has been fantastic. When you watch them, I think there’s a little bit more attacking intent, with how quickly they move the ball.
"They were getting in decent positions under Still, but they just weren’t taking those chances.
"As forward players, once you get that first one, there's a sense of frustration around and disappointment at not taking some of those chances.
"But this man [Armstrong] - incredible. Some of the types of finishing. He's got everything in his armoury. Since that first win under Eckert, the team's not really looked back."
