FORMER Saints player Jason Puncheon has become co-owner and head of football operations of UAE second-tier side Arabian Falcons.

Puncheon, who made 81 appearances for Saints, has most recently been working as a head coach in Cyprus, taking charge of four different clubs.

The 39 year old has now moved into a boardroom role, and is not the only notable Englishman at the UAE second division side Arabian Falcons.

Former Premier League midfielders Jonjo Shelvey and Ravel Morrison are part of a squad coached by former Spurs and Arsenal youngster Harry Agombar.

"I believe in a clear football vision built on structure, development, and ambition. I'm looking forward to the journey ahead," Puncheon said in a statement.

Club president Ailan Al Mheiri added: "We are excited to welcome a new member whose skills and energy will bring great value to our team. We look forward to achieving great success together."
