SOUTHAMPTON boxer Ryan Garner's next fight will take place at the 3 Arena in Dublin on March 14, Queensbury promotions have confirmed.
Garner, 28, is set for a bout on the undercard of James Dickens vs Anthony Cacace over St Patrick's Day weekend, but has not yet discovered his opponent.
The undefeated super featherweight most recently beat Reece Bellotti in July to move to 18-0 and add the British and Commonwealth super-featherweight titles to his collection.
Garner has since vacated his European and British titles, as he likely manoeuvres towards World honours, but still holds Commonwealth and WBC international gold
The local lad and fervent Southampton fan hopes to land a world title fight at St Mary's, previously admitting he would "die a happy man" if he gets to live out that dream.
Supporters of Garner hoping to make the trip to Dublin are unable to purchase tickets, with the event already sold out.
Alongside Dickens vs Cacace, Pierce O'Leary and Mark Chamberlain will compete for the vacant IBO World Super Lightweight Championship.
