SAINTS have been given a new kick-off time for their upcoming home clash with Championship promotion rivals Ipswich Town due to TV.

The Good Friday meeting with the Tractor Boys at St Mary’s will now kick off at 5.30pm on Friday, April 3, after being picked up by Sky Sports.

Ipswich are currently pushing for automatic promotion back to the Premier League, while Saints are scrapping to secure a place in the league's top six.

However, supporters should note that the date of this fixture is not yet guaranteed as the match falls on the weekend of the FA Cup quarter-finals.

This means it could still be moved to a free midweek slot if Saints overcome Fulham in Sunday’s fifth round tie at Craven Cottage (12pm).

Saints’ Easter Monday trip to Wrexham AFC - a play-off six-pointer - has not been selected for television coverage and is set to remain a 3pm kick-off.

However, that fixture could also change. Wrexham remain in the FA Cup, and a new date may be required if either side progresses through the fifth round.
