SAINTS have confirmed that the team coach will arrive at St Mary's at 6.30pm ahead of Tuesday's Championship play-off semi-final.

Tonda Eckert's in-form side take on Middlesbrough in the second leg of the contest, following a 0-0 draw at Riverside Stadium on Saturday.

Saints have been under pressure to urge supporters not to enter the pitch or use pyrotechnics during what is certain to be a highly emotional encounter.

The club warned fans that it could lead to further EFL sanctions from the EFL, following punishment after the 2024 semi-final against West Brom.

But they want supporters to create a special atmosphere to welcome the players and staff to the stadium, as they look to secure a place in the final.

The fan zones will open from 5pm, while Mark Dennis and Matt Le Tissier will speak pitchside before kick-off and at half-time respectively.
