SAINTS star Leo Scienza and head coach Tonda Eckert were pictured for the first time this pre-season as training returned to Staplewood.
Scienza, 27, had not been seen in the social media content posted by the club from the first two days of pre-season testing at Solent University this week.
Meanwhile, boss Eckert was also not seen with strength and conditioning coaches, and students from the university, leading the proceedings.
But the pair have been snapped in action as Saints returned to the training pitches for the first time as preparations for the Championship stepped up.
After testing took place on Monday and Tuesday with the squad split into two groups, the full squad reunited at Staplewood on Thursday morning.
Players were called to report in by 9.30am, with Scienza among a group who arrived more than an hour early, as excitement for the season builds.
Welington was also spotted back in training, with the Brazilian defender not pictured by the club previously this week, like his compatriot Scienza.
The only players who have not returned are internationals Shea Charles, Cyle Larin and Yuki Sugawara, who have been given extra holiday to enjoy.
Charles, 22, played 170 minutes across two friendlies against Guinea and France in the first week of June, while the latter two played in the World Cup.
Training with the first team instead were three under-21 stars in striker Nick Oyekunle, midfielder Barnaby Williams and defender Joachim Kayi-Sanda.
Training appeared varied with several ball-oriented drills orchestrated by staff, including the use of hurdles, dummies, poles and tackle pads.
Saints are building up to their first friendly in front of supporters on Saturday, July 18, with a 7.45pm visit to National League neighbours Eastleigh.
