SAINTS are closing in on a loan deal for Manchester City striker Divin Mubama.
Mubama, 21, spent last season on loan at Championship rivals Stoke City where he scored five goals.
The striker joined City from West Ham United in 2024 and starred for their under-21s before his first senior loan at Stoke last term.
He made 16 senior appearances for the Hammers, including eight in the Premier League and has featured for City's first team twice.
The forward has also been a regular for Enzo Maresca's side during pre-season this summer, scoring twice and registering an assist.
The 21 year old has also appeared at numerous age groups for England, including the under-21s.

First reported by The Mail, Saints have shown loan interest in Mubama and are now understood to be expected to sign the striker on a season-long loan.
Adding a physical striker is a priority for Saints in the remaining weeks of the summer transfer window.
Ross Stewart departed earlier in the summer upon the end of his contract and has subsequently signed a three-year deal with fellow Championship side Swansea City on a free transfer.
